To promote Pepsi through Africa 2010 games in Africa and attract more African football fans to drink Pepsi while they are watching football games.

The ad has featured many celebrity footballers and also a well-known artist, portraying them playing and blending in with the Africa people in order to show that Pepsi can bring all people together, having fun.

The ad shown a huge group of Africans singing and dancing together with singer Akon and other famous footballers such as Kaka and Messi in a mowed jungle.

The ad wants their audience to be informed about the low prices sales at Walmart.

Housewives and general public.

The target audience are concerned with the relatively low prices of goods selling at Walmart comparing to other hypermarkets.

6. What is the message?
Walmart helps consumers to save even more and always maintains its low prices.

Walmart attracts more consumers with their tagline "helping you to save even more" by reducing to lower prices.

To housewives and middle and lower classes of families.

Attract more consumers.

The ad shows several prices became lower after being "reconstructed" by a Smiley construction worker. This shows the purpose of the ad.

The ad was animated with a Smiley as a construction worker where he re-constructs the prices into lower prices in the Walmart store.

Is it a seasonal promotion and if so, how long does it last?

To achieve the impossibilities.

The message is that everyone can and will achieve the impossibilities and dreams together along with AT&T.

The message sounds promising and motivating people to dare to dream and you will achieve the impossibilities that you have imagined in your daily life together with AT&T.

People who want to improve their lives through the convenience of the innovative gadgets might bring in future.

To practically think big.

Investors and general public in Europe.

5. What are the target audience's needs, concerns and interest?
To apply more syndicated loans and able to make money transactions via online worldwide.

6. What is the message?
Their bank is so big that they can make online transactions possibly from anywhere.

7. Discuss the message being conveyed.
Barclays has its own self-perception of being a big bank where everyone who needs to access money should access through them as they made it possible for online transactions and available almost every part of the world.

European citizens.

9. What is the desired communication outcome?
To be part of Barclays if you wanna be 'big'.

Television and radio.

Barclays bank portrays its image through its tagline meanwhile informing people that their bank is big enough to help people who travel around the world access their money, hence selling the conveniency.

It featured a personality, Anthony Hopkins living a luxurious life with a elegant woman.

The interest rates.

#2 Insurance - Thai Life Insurance

It belongs to Public Service Advertising as it portrays the great and sacrificing love of a dumb father towards his daughter.

This ad is relevant to the societal role of advertising.

3. What does the ad. want the audience to do or not do?
The ad wants its audience to appreciate people who love us and never take them for granted.

4. Who is the target audience?
General public.

5. What are the target audience's needs, concerns and interest?

Appreciate the ones who love who unconditionally.

Despite being a physically imperfect father, he still tried his best to play the father role, which is to give care and love to his daughter. The daughter was at her rebellious stage where she could not accept her father for being that imperfect and hence being disrespectful to him but in the end she realized the person who loved her the most was her imperfect father.

Generally anyone as everyone has parents or children.

Target audience learns to have more appreciation towards life and therefore, buying a life insurance either for themselves or their loved ones.

It is a life insurance from Thai Life insurance where the advertisement conveys a positive message to its target audience at the same time being related to its service.

A teenager and her mentally incompetent father, friends at school, food stall where the father earns a living, and hospital.

The price of the insurance.

Positive and reliable.

It is a slice-of-life.

The colours in the ad are more towards dull, not vibrant colours. The mood is sad and touching in the end while the music used in the video is the important element in the advertisement as it carries the feelings of the viewer from grief to touching, hence leaving a memorable impression.

Definitely memorable.

Yes as I think this insurance company is reliable and responsible.

I personally love this ad very much as it touches me a lot. As being a daughter or a father, I guess everyone could somehow relate to this video. It also leaves me some time of self-reflecting.

#3 Automotive - Aston Martin

It belongs to Brand Advertising as it establishes an impression and image of its product and also includes a tagline.

The communication role of advertising.

The ad wants the audience to have a close look of its car and feel the powerful experience of an Aston Martin.

4. Who is the target audience?
Men with high range of salary or upper class people or people who love sports car.

5. What are the target audience's needs, concerns and interest?
Their are concerned about the outlook design and most of all the speed of an Aston Martin.

6. What is the message?
The message is that an Aston Martin can actually compete with a circuit sports car.

7. Discuss the message being conveyed.
The brand name, Aston Martin itself is a symbol of luxurious automotive where not many can afford and perceive it as an automotive lust. Therefore, besides selling its unique design and brand, Aston Martin also focuses on the specifications of their cars, especially the speed and horsepower.

People who are interested in sports car and also affordable for it.

To attract sport car lovers to purchase or know more about Aston Martin.

No because I am not affordable yet.

I have a little interest in sports car but this ad does not leave me a strong impression in terms of its outlook and specifications.
